Where does my donation go?

Since MLT has no salaried employees and is run solely by unpaid volunteers, all funds raised are directed toward the operating expenses of MLT. The annual expenses of the trust consist of property maintenance, liability insurance, legal and accounting, and administration. Local residents and businesses have generously and continuously provided support, recognizing the unique and priceless opportunity to live, work, and play with some of the most pristine open land on Nantucket as a backdrop.
